Halwani Bros, a well-established food manufacturing company, is the leading producer and distributor of middle-eastern foodstuffs such as middle east sweets, bakery products stuffed with dates, Dairy, processed meat, jam and juices among others, manufactured in our production facilities in two countries – Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

With an experienced management team along with a competent workforce that brings together complimentary strengths, we work together towards a clear vision - to be a premier food company, offering superior tasting and high quality middle eastern food products to people around the globe. Thus, we endeavor to make our quality products savored not only around the mid-east region, but with a network of 20 distributors in Europe, South-East Asia and the Americas, we strive hard to make it available worldwide.

Building on over 50 years of achieving excellence in the fast moving consumer goods market, Halwani Bros continued to improve its operating performance and its competitive position in the FMCG market. An extensive review of the company’s organisation structure and business processes in the last couple of years, brought about significant changes in the company’s performance. Innovative strategies were developed and implemented, fresh and promising personnel came on board, and our new state-of-the-art industrial complex started recently to operate.

In addition to organic growth, we seek to extend the business through mergers and acquisitions along with strategic alliances, thereby increasing shareholder’s value. Eng. Saleh Ahmad Hefni is the CEO & Managing Director of Halwani Bros. He developed and implemented an across-the-board restructuring strategy in the company that resulted in a remarkable growth that quadrupled both the net and the operating profit in 4 years. He took the company to IPO in his first year of assuming the post and started building the state-of-the-art new industrial complex at the Jeddah Industrial Estate.

Prior to joining Halwani Bros in 2007, he successfully transformed SISCO into a public-trading company in 1992, and a holding company in 1999 where he eventually served as its Managing Director & President. He developed the infrastructure and operational procedure of Jeddah’s First Free Zone which later on gave birth to Saudi Trade and Export Development Co. (TUSDEER), where he also served as its President.

He is also an executive committee member of Kindasa Water Services – another SISCO affiliate and a part of a team that headed the development of the first BOT container terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port.

Saleh holds an engineering degree from the United States and a master’s degree from Scotland.
